1336 PCB Boards Selection Guide

When it comes to high class technology in industrial automation, few products, like the 1336 series of VFDs, are as exciting and innovative as they have full control over drives. It is aimed to revolutionize the way of energy efficiency and torque control for industrial applications. With voltage ratings ranging from 200V to 600V AC and horsepower output from 1 to 600, it offers various options for every 1336 drive series i.e., 1336 IMPACT, PLUS, PLUS II, FORCE, and REGEN drives. With its advanced features and intuitive interface, it's no wonder that tech enthusiasts are ready to install it in their variable frequency drives. This selection guide helps you find the perfect option of the 1336 PCB Board according to your needs which will promise to deliver an unparalleled experience that will take your industrial life to the next level.

What are 1336 PCBs?

The term "PCB" denotes printed circuit boards that are used in the Allen-Bradley 1336 variable frequency drive (VFD) series. The 1336 PCBs are components of the Allen-Bradley 1336 FORCE, IMPACT, PLUS, PLUS-II, and 1336 REGEN drive groups. The central PCB for the above drives are built with firmware versions 2.03 to 4.03.

The PCBs also have a main adapter, the gate drive, the snubber, and the precharge PCBs. A 1336 PCB offer great and simple PCB replacement part alternatives for all 1336 drive series. Because of the variety of alternatives available, they are suitable spare part peripherals for assembly, inclusion, and servicing.

Another distinguishing feature of said 1336 PCB replacement parts is their ability to be utilized and fitted in other drive variants.

Catalog Number Description

The Catalog Number Description of 1336--BDB--SP1--A provides a code that represents a particular component of the Allen Bradley 1336 series of drives. The first three digits represent the drive series, which could be either 1336S, 1336F, 1336T, 1336E or 1336R. The 1336S refers to the 1336 PLUS, 1336F refers to the 1336 PLUS II, 1336T refers to the 1336 FORCE, 1336E refers to the 1336 IMPACT, and 1336R refers to the 1336 REGEN.

The next three letters of the code, BDB, represent the spare part type. In this case, it stands for Common Spare, which means that this is a standard spare part used across different products in the series. The next two letters, SP1, are the part delineator that identifies a specific part within the common spare category. The last letter, A, is the revision number, indicating any modifications or improvements made to the part over time.

Enclosure Types for 1336 PCBs

The 1336 PCBs are available for different types of drives with various enclosure ratings. Their enclosure ratings include IP 00 (Open), IP 65 (NEMA 4), and IP 54 (NEMA 12), which decide the level of protection provided against dust, water, and other environmental dynamics. The PLUS, PLUS II, FORCE, IMPACT, and REGEN are different drive models manufactured by Allen-Bradley that require specific types of PCB boards for their operation. Therefore, the spare 1336 PCBs are designed to be compatible with these different drive models and their respective enclosure ratings.

All of the drives and accessories, including the 1336 PCB, have a range of temperatures for safe and efficient operation. For the NEMA 4 and 12 rated boards, the range of temperature is from zero to 40 degrees Celsius, whereas for NEMA Open-rated boards, it is between zero and 50 degrees Celsius. equipment, and helps to ensure the continued performance and reliability of the drives in their intended applications.

The Allen-Bradley's 1336-PB-SP23B is a spare precharge PCB by Rockwell Automation. It provides its compatible drives with an output power rating of 60 to 600 HP. This board should be properly grounded in the drive is essential during installation to prevent electrical interference. The 1336-PB-SP23B PCB should be kept in a dry, indoor environment to avoid damage from moisture. Additionally, the installation area should be free from electromagnetic noise. The board complies with industrial standards, and a specified temperature range between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius should be maintained for optimal operation.

1336T-GT2-SP42B

The 1336T-GT2-SP42B is a gate drive printed circuit board designed for use in variable frequency drives. The gate drive PCB is part of the Allen-Bradley 1336 series PCB boards. And it is designed to meet industry standards. This PCB board is responsible for converting low-level power input into a high current output that drives the insulated gate bipolar transistor brake. The PCB unit can be used with a voltage rating of 460V AC and an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.

1336-BDB-SP21C

The 1336-BDB-SP21C is a gate drive printed circuit board (PCB) developed by Allen-Bradley, which is compatible with their adjustable frequency drives, including the 1336 Plus (S), 1336 Plus II (F), 1336 Force (T), and 1336 Impact (E) series. It operates at a voltage rating of 575 Volts AC and can handle an output power rating of 30 Horsepower. This board's normal operating frequency range is between 50 to 60 Hertz. The gate drive board is mounted between the main control board and the chassis, separated by a gate drive board mounting plate.

1336-BDB-SP48A

The Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1336 family of adjustable frequency drives can use the 1336-BDB-SP48A PCB main board as a replacement part. It is a gate drive board and is compatible with all 1336 class drives, including the Plus (S), Plus II (F), Force (T), and Impact (E). The 1336-BDB-SP48A board features an amplifier device that produces a high current to operate the IGBT brake. Additionally, the gate drive board powers the main control and isolation boards and enables/disables the IGBT brake.

74101-169-88

The 74101-169-88 board is an Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1336 gate drive board. It can be used as a replacement part for damaged or defective gate drive boards in Allen-Bradley drives from a variety of series, including the 1336 PLUS and 1336 PLUS II series. The 74101-169-88 gate drive board is compatible with drive input voltage ratings of 460V AC and drive output power ratings of 500 Horsepower.
